LHC Inner Triplet Quads

(at Fermilab magnet test and assembly facility)

Lower Right: Q1 Quad Magnet. KEK, Japan assembly of cold mass, Fermilab final cryostat assembly. The Q1 and Q3 magnets literally make a world tour before finally arriving at CERN!
Upper Left: Q2 Quad Magnet. Longer, double quad in single cryostat. Complete assembly at Fermilab.

Note the final focus magnets are all named after workers children. These two are Katie and Isabel.
